Providing you with a space to be authentic
Meet Wendy
Wendy Brinker has a BA in History from Penn State University, followed by a Master's degree in Education from Lehigh University and a Certificate in Family Counseling from the Levinsky School of Education in Tel Aviv. Her transition into individual and couples counseling developed through the teachings of various leading influences in the field, and include professional workshops and sesssions featuring Esther Perel, Alexandra Solomon, Ellyn Bader and many others.
The scope of my professional work has included children, adults, and familes in North America, in Israel, and in Europe, bi-cultural couples, has been conducted in English and in Hebrew, and with populations ranging from gifted to those with special needs. As a mother to two daughters (now young adults), what resonates most is that there is no one solution to any given difficulty. The first step is understanding and honoring the individual needs of each family member, big and small.
By embracing differences and individuality, accessing both new and familiar resources, and acting creatively and compassionately, long-lasting changes that will improve family life are within reach for everyone.
Our families function at the highest level as a unit by cherishing the individuality of each member. Understanding ourselves, our partners, and our children is an essential first step to success.
My focus as a counselor is to support and help individuals and couples during challenging life moments. I'm devoted to substancially improving home life through fascilitating personal growth, and a deeper understanding of the big and little people we love.
